Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a solid understanding of early childhood education principles. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their well-being while fostering their development through play and structured activities.
Responsibilities
Supervise and engage with children in a afterschool setting, ensuring their safety at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Communicate effectively with children, encouraging their expression and understanding of emotions. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the childcare environment. Collaborate with parents to discuss children's progress and any concerns regarding their development. Provide leadership in guiding children's behaviour positively and constructively.
Experience
Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is highly desirable. Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Experience working with diverse groups of children is an advantage.
