We provide

residential care

for young people from ten to twenty-one years old and are looking for a Day Shift Care Worker in our three-bed care homes in Ayrshire.

We provide a homely, safe and supportive environment and promote responsibility, growth, learning and positive outcomes for young people who come to stay with us.

As part of a team, you will provide day-to-day care, support and direction to young people with challenging emotional and behavioural needs. The role requires you to work with national childcare practice and use planned activities as a medium for healing. It also requires that...

You will be able to forge supportive relationships with young people and genuinely enjoy their company, and want the best for them. Salary

Salary 12.60 per hour.

Hours of work

Full time 8am to 8pm, (14 shifts in every 4 week rota).

Whilst previous experience would be desirable, excellent support skills, the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.
