Job Description

To manage a small team of staff to ensure that your room runs efficiently.

To ensure that the individual care needs of children are met and that children are supported in self care.

To plan and implement a program of play reflective of children's developmental needs and interests.

To maintain a safe and secure environment .

To liaise with other Supervisors for the smooth transition for children moving to Toddler Room.

To ensure all practice reflects the statutory and curriculum guidelines.

To liaise with management and other professionals to ensure the highest quality of care is on offer.

To observe and record children's development in addition to daily tasks on our parenting app.

To participate in team meetings and relevant training.

To ensure that all room paperwork is up to date including planning, registers, risk assessments and observations.

Summary

As a Childcare Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a childcare facility, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. Reporting to the center director, you will utilize your core skills in early childhood education and communication to engage with children and staff effectively. Your leadership and management abilities will guide your team in delivering high-quality care and educational experiences. Additionally, your relevant skills in English and driving will support effective communication with families and facilitate transportation needs. Qualifications

Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting Minimum Level 3 in CCLD required. Strong background in early childhood education Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children and parents Demonstrated leadership and management abilities Valid driver's license and proficiency in English Ability to create a safe and nurturing environment for children
