. This role gives children the opportunity to develop creativity, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and confidence through fun, hands-on building activities in a safe and supportive environment.
The club runs
Mondays, 3:30pm - 4:30pm (1 hour per week).
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and engage a small group of primary-aged children in Lego-based activities and building challenges.
Plan and deliver enjoyable, age-appropriate sessions that encourage imagination, creativity, and collaboration.
Support children in developing confidence, fine motor skills, and cooperative play.
Maintain clear communication with school staff and, where appropriate, parents regarding children's participation.
Ensure all materials are organised and the activity space is safe, tidy, and ready for each session.
Experience & Skills
Experience working with children in schools, clubs, childcare, or similar environments.
Ability to engage and motivate young learners in a structured yet fun setting.
Strong English communication skills for effective interaction with children, staff, and parents.
Creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for play-based learning are highly desirable.
