I am seeking a 2nd childcare assistant that is dedicated, nurturing and able to provide exceptional care for children in a warm and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and educational atmosphere while supporting the children's development. This role requires someone who is enthusiastic about childcare.

Duties

- Supervise and engage with children in various activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Plan and implement educational games and activities that promote learning and development. .
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children, catering to any dietary requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised environment, including tidying up after activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Help plan activities which cover all 7 areas of learning. -Be happy to drive children to groups and on outings with the childminder. - To do training and keep this up to date; main ones to have are paediatric first aid and level 3 safeguarding.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in nannying or childcare would be helpful.
- A valid driver's licence is preferred to facilitate transportation of children.
- Ability to educate and engage children through creative play and structured activities.
- A caring, patient, and responsible attitude towards children of all ages.
- First Aid certification is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain it is required. Safeguarding level 3 would be good to have or willingness to obtain this is required.

Job Types: Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
