Role Overview



We are seeking a passionate and dedicated

Childminder Assistant

. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to making a positive difference in children's lives and is eager to grow within a supportive and professional childcare environment.

Key Responsibilities



Ensure a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for all children in your care. Deliver high-quality care and emotional support tailored to each child's individual needs. Build strong and open relationships with parents, including providing daily updates. Plan and facilitate fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities in line with the 2025 Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework for childminders. Participate in daily routines including meal preparation, toileting, nappy changing, hygiene, sleep routines, and general care. Support children's learning through outings and community-based activities. Collaborate with other team members to provide outstanding care for children aged 0-5 years.

Candidate Requirements



Minimum

Level 2 qualification

in Early Years or Childcare (Level 3 preferred). Previous experience working with children under 5 in a childcare setting (e.g. nursery, preschool, childminding, or nannying). Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate, or willingness to complete training prior to start date (provided). Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one through us (cost covered). Confident in leading activities and engaging children independently. Strong commitment to safeguarding and the well-being of children. Fluent in spoken English; additional languages are an asset.

Please Note:


The successful candidate will be required to complete a paediatric first aid course (off-site) and safeguarding training (delivered on-site), as well as undergo an enhanced DBS check, all of which will be arranged and funded by us.
