Childminder's Assistant

to join our team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys nurturing young children and supporting their early development in a safe, fun, and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting the childminder with daily activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children. Supervising play, reading stories, and engaging children in educational and creative activities. Supporting meal and snack times, ensuring good hygiene and healthy eating habits. Helping with school/nursery drop-offs and pick-ups (if required). Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in play areas. Providing emotional and social support to children in your care.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children is preferred but not essential. A genuine love for working with children. A patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude. Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions. A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Relevant childcare qualifications (desirable but not required).

A local busy childminder is looking for a caring and enthusiastic person to assist in an established quality childminding service.

No formal qualifications are required, full training can be given

Full Driving License is essential

The successful candidate must be reliable, trustworthy and hardworking and will be required to plan and take part in play based activities, support children's learning and development, assist with personal care as well as assist with administration tasks and the general day to day requirements of the service.

20 hours per week

Chance of overtime when needed and covering holidays for extra hours
