Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childminding Assistant to provide exceptional childcare for our family. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development in a loving environment. This role requires someone who can effectively communicate with both children and parents, manage daily activities, and foster a positive atmosphere.

Duties

Supervise and engage with children in a variety of activities, including playtime, educational games, and outings. Prepare meals and snacks that cater to dietary needs and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe environment by tidying up after activities and ensuring all toys are organised. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise. Manage daily schedules, including nap times, playdates, and other appointments. Provide emotional support and guidance to help children develop social skills and confidence.

Experience

Proficient communication skills in English to ensure clear interaction with both children and parents. Experience in nursery settings or similar environments would be an advantage.

We are currently looking for

bank staff

to join our team. This role offers flexible hours initially, with the potential to progress to

2-3 days per week

depending on availability and service needs.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Temporary, Temp to perm, Apprenticeship, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
