Job Description
Do you work in the Children and Young Person Sector (residential childcare) and looking to move into a Training role?
We are looking to recruit a Training Officer to deliver Health and Social Care Children and Young Person training across Powys and Gwynedd. All training will be provided for this role.
1x part-time (30 hours) or full-time (37.5hours) - the office is based in Newtown but involves travel.
Responsibilities:
Delivering training to work-based learners
Support a caseload of learners through a blended learning model
Plan for teaching, learning and assessment
Providing both 1:1 and group teaching.
Conduct regular reviews of progress with learners and employers
Attend standardisation activities
Be able to navigate online, digital platforms.
Skills, attributes and qualifications:
Ideally hold relevant assessing qualification in either TAQA, A1/ D32/33
Relevant sector qualifications (ie Level 3 and Level 5)
Relevant occupational experience (2 years minimum)
Excellent communication and time management skills
Ability to inspire and motivate learners
Computer literate
Job Types: Part-time/Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From 24,500 - 26,000 (depended on level delivered) plus yearly performance based bonus
