Join us as a

Children and Young Persons Officer

, using your expertise to support and guide teams, strategic leads and external partners on issues affecting young people. You'll support youth-focused projects that prevent crime and anti-social behaviour, and coordinate responses to youth engagement across police and partner agencies.

You'll be

Implementing the Child Centred Policing Delivery Plan and recognising gaps in this. Guiding officers on appropriate approaches to young people regarding crime prevention. Creating and delivering the Leicestershire Police 'Educational Offer'.

You must have

An understanding of child/adolescent development and what can impact this. Partnership working experience and sharing best practices for continuous improvement. Knowledge and skilled using new and social medias.
