Job Description
We are looking for a SELF-EMPLOYED fully qualified Counsellor with experience of working with children and teenagers to be based at our Bromsgrove and Redditch offices.
Experience of dealing with safeguarding issues and liaising with Social Services preferable. DBS check required.
This person will work closely with child and teenage clients to better understand the issues they are facing, and to try to establish any underlying causes
.If these causes can be established, the counsellor will then work to develop appropriate strategies for the child or young person to help to overcome them.
Hours of work are on set days - Tuesday (Redditch), Wednesday (Redditch), Thursday (Redditch), Friday (Bromsgrove), Saturday (either office, optional). Availability to do afternoon/evening work is essential from 1-8pm.
Supervision to be sourced externally. Management and safeguarding support will be provided internally.

Education:
Diploma of Higher Education (required)
Experience:
children and teenage counselling: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
BACP registration or equivalent (required)
