About the Role

RobolabX is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Afterschool STEM Club Assistants. In this role, you will deliver fun, engaging, and educational STEM sessions for children aged 5-11, focusing on robotics, programming, and hands-on technology projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young learners while developing their creativity, problem-solving skills, and curiosity for technology.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver structured and engaging STEM sessions (1 hour per session) to children aged 5-16. Encourage and support pupils in building and programming robots and exploring STEM concepts. Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment during sessions. Assist in the preparation, setup, and cleanup of materials and equipment. Support holiday camps as required.
About You

We are looking for an individual who is:

Enthusiastic about technology, especially robotics, programming, and STEM education. Experienced in working with children, particularly in the 5-11 age group. Confident in delivering activities and maintaining discipline and motivation. A responsible and reliable person who relates well to pupils and adults.
Preferred Qualifications and Requirements

Enhanced DBS A basic understanding of child development and safeguarding practices (preferred). Availability to work during term time and holiday camps.
