About the Role
We are looking for a caring and motivated Residential Care Worker to join our children's home in Rugeley. You will play a vital role in supporting the daily lives, education, and emotional wellbeing of the children, while helping to create a nurturing, structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, person-centred care to children with EBD.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and professionals.
Follow care plans and behaviour management strategies.
Maintain accurate records and report observations.
Promote independence, social skills, and emotional resilience.
Participate in flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
Essential Requirements
NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it).
Full UK driving licence (automatic).
Experience working with children with complex needs is desirable.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
