Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Class Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for performance and the ability to connect with families with young children. As a Class Leader, you will be responsible for delivering captivating classes that educate, inspire, and entertain. This role requires strong public speaking skills, creativity, and a flair for dance or other performance arts.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver activities according to the lesson plan, rehearsing at home as needed. Create an engaging experience using storytelling, demonstrations, and hands-on activities. Welcome and build rapport with parents and children, maintaining registers and ensuring a smooth class experience. Set up and reset equipment for classes, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout the venue. Handle minor administrative tasks, liaise with the franchisee and parents, and attend training and planning sessions. Optionally run birthday parties (pre-agreed, including occasional weekends).

Essential Qualities and Experience

Experience working with young children. Understanding of child development milestones and a relatable, empathetic approach to caregivers. Strong communication skills with the confidence to lead and engage large groups. Energetic, enthusiastic, and approachable personality. Reliable, self-motivated, and attentive to detail.

Desirable Qualities

Background in public speaking, performing arts, or similar. Familiarity with dance, storytelling, or other creative disciplines. Flexibility and adaptability to varying group dynamics and settings.
