Cherish Children's Care is looking for a

Children's Residential Support Worker

to join our dedicated team at our home in Lancaster. You'll play a vital role in supporting children and young people who may have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, or family breakdown, helping them to feel safe, valued, and empowered.

About the Role



As a Children's Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Providing emotional and practical support to children and young people aged 8 and 18 years. Supporting with daily routines, including meals, education, appointments, and leisure activities. Helping to develop care plans tailored to each young person's individual needs. Encouraging independence, life skills, and positive relationships. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every child in your care. Maintaining accurate records and working closely with families, social workers, and other professionals.
