Job Overview:
Eden Children's Care Ltd are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our growing team as a Registered Manager. Our beautiful homes are grade 2 listed surrounded by countryside with large gardens.

The homes have a full experienced staff team in place and have full occupancy with children who are settled and making great progress. The current registered manager remaining in the business there will be a thorough handover period. All our homes are supported by a clinical psychologist which provides a range of therapies, diagnostics and support for the provisions and supporting staff teams.

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects managing the home, we endeavour to create a safe nurturing environment where children can flourish into responsible young adults.

Responsibilities:

As the Registered Manager, you will lead and inspire our care teams to deliver outstanding care and support to children and young people. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential services, ensuring they run smoothly and in full compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and organisational policies. With a strong emphasis on trauma-informed practice, person-centred care, and safeguarding, you will help create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. Your leadership will focus on driving quality, maintaining high standards of safety, and promoting a positive culture that puts the needs and wellbeing of the children and young people at the centre of everything we do.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years' experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children. At least 6 months in an RM role supervising and managing staff. Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or Practitioner (essential) Have or working towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) (or the equivalent) Evidence of "Good" or "Outstanding" grade within your recent Ofsted Inspections. A good understanding of Therapeutic Practices and PACE Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A commitment to excellence in service delivery A passion for making a meaningful impact on young lives ?Ability to develop the team to help us promote from within
The role is subject to satisfactory references and a full DBS check in line with the children's homes' schedule 2 checks and meet the requirements of regulation 28 under the children's home 2015 regulations.
