Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Children's Home Registered Manager to join our new 3 bedroom home, located in Corby, Northamptonshire. As the Registered Manager, your role will be vital in ensuring the smooth and effective operations of the organisation, particularly in providing care and support for children and young people, going above and beyond in shaping their experiences and laying the foundation for their future. RM will be required to support in the opening of the new home and Ofsted registration.

Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 per annum

The Role

Key Responsibilities:

Opening a new home and successfully registering with Ofsted.. Provide strong leadership in ensuring the well-being, safety, and positive development of children and young people with complex needs. Oversee the implementation of individualised care plans and collaborate with specialists to address unique challenges. Ensure compliance by following policies and procedures and all regulations and standards Create a therapeutic and nurturing environment that supports the emotional, educational, and social development of each individual. Comply with Safeguarding and child protection, promoting an honest and open culture Recruit, train, and manage a dedicated team of professionals committed to delivering high-quality care. Collaborate with families, specialists, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support.
Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience in a managerial or deputy role within an OFSTED registered home Comprehensive knowledge of current legislations: The Children's Homes England Regulations 2015, Quality Standards 2015, the Children's Act 1989, Children Act 2004 alongside all other legislations that are relevant to residential children's homes Strong understanding of the complex needs of children and young people. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. Outstanding leadership abilities, demonstrating the capacity to inspire and empower a team. Passion for making a positive impact and creating a supportive environment. Level 5 Qualification - In Leadership & Management in Health and Social Care or working towards. UK Full Driving license essential
