who can effectively manage & inspire our amazingly dedicated team?
Lead our therapeutic home in the Kendal area for children aged 6-12 yrs - 42 hours
Be part of something different
This is a unique opportunity to work with, and make a real difference to, the lives of our very young children, aged 6-10 when they join us. Our children have experienced significant trauma in their lives, often compounded by multiple breakdowns with family and foster care placements. Our goal is to provide a therapeutic intervention which helps our children to move on from us before they reach their teenage years with the skills and resilience they need to manage in family settings and schools.
We have remained a small family run organisation, dedicated to our values and ethos. Over decades we have developed our own unique approach and the results we achieve are exceptional. We continue to strive to learn and grow together, embracing ideas and development, where everyone's voice is valued.
Join our team
With the support of our experienced management team, you'll join our multidisciplinary Senior Leadership Team, reviewing and shaping practice, policies and procedures.
We work together as one team. You will lead the home's team with direct support from the home's Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, Team Leaders and Shift leaders, along with an established, experienced and dedicated care team.
You'll work alongside Education Leaders, Psychologist, and Therapists to coordinate a holistic care plan unique to each of our children.
You will be actively involved in new referrals whilst also prioritising the impact on the children currently placed with us.

Our Children
When our children come to us, they are a bubbling pot of feelings and emotions, we understand that behaviour is communication. We help our children understand that they are not bad, but bad things may have happened to them. We help them to understand and name their feelings, helping them to develop strategies to allow them to be successful in all aspects of their lives. By the time they are ready to leave us our children have the ability and resilience to cope with their next step.
