Your Pivotal Role
As our Children's Home Manager, you'll be instrumental in embedding a
strong therapeutic ethos
throughout the home. You'll lead by example, mentoring and empowering your team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care that truly meets each young person's unique needs.
Key Responsibilities
Therapeutic Leadership:
Develop and implement innovative,
tailored therapeutic care plans
that are evidence-based, addressing the specific emotional, social, and behavioural needs of each young person.
Team Development:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a
dedicated staff team in Preston
, fostering excellence, collaboration, and continuous professional development through regular supervision, training, and performance management.
Resource Management:
Effectively and creatively manage the home's budget and resources to
fully support the therapeutic model of care
, ensuring the environment and staffing levels promote positive outcomes.
Compliance & Quality:
Ensure
meticulous record-keeping
and adherence to all relevant OFSTED regulations, National Minimum Standards, and best practices, contributing to a culture of transparency and accountability.
What You'll Bring
Essential Qualification:
A
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
or equivalent.
Proven Experience:
Substantial experience as a
Deputy Manager or Registered Manager
within a children's home setting, with a strong understanding of therapeutic approaches and their practical application.
Driving Licence:
A
valid UK Driving Licence
is essential.
