We Are JUNO CIC is a non-profit children's home provider. We create homes where young people feel safe, loved and supported in all aspects of their emotional, physical, and educational development - homes, where young people thrive.
We aim to disrupt existing models of residential care that are not serving the children they support and develop homes across Liverpool City Region that improve outcomes for local children and reduce profiteering in the sector.
We'll be opening our fourth home - Juno Runcorn - at the start of next year, 2026.
As Juno's Registered Manager you will:
Make sure that every child and young person in our care has the best possible experience: that they experience love, joy and safety, and are encouraged to lead their best lives.
Lead and grow the home care team in a new 3-bed EBD/LD home, working with colleagues to create a positive culture and ethos, nurturing staff and responding effectively when things don't go to plan.
Be registered with Ofsted and lead the home to achieve Outstanding results in inspections, with support from your team and senior managers.
Manage the day-to-day operation of the children's home within an agreed budget.
Develop and maintain effective and respectful relationships with children, staff, parents and partner organisations

Role requirements include:
Level 5 Diploma
in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent) with
two years experience
of working with children in a residential care setting
Full, clean driving licence
At least two years of experience as a Registered Manager in a Children's Home with Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a short online meeting to get to know the hiring manager, then a Safer Recruitment and Skills interview which includes our Experts by Experience (those with lived experience of the care system).
