Your Role




We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a 5-bedroom residential home supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This is an exciting opportunity for a committed leader to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children by providing a safe, nurturing, and high-quality care environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management: Ensure the home operates to the highest standards in line with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations 2015. Team Development: Lead, manage, and support a team of residential support workers to deliver person-centred care. Safeguarding & Compliance: Ensure the home remains fully compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements, promoting a strong safeguarding culture. Care Planning: Oversee the implementation of individual care plans, supporting children with complex emotional and behavioural needs. Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work effectively with social workers, education providers, healthcare professionals, and other external agencies. Financial & Operational Oversight: Manage budgets, staffing rotas, and resources effectively to ensure high-quality service delivery

About You




To be successful in this role, you will have:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent, or willingness to work towards it). Significant experience in a leadership role within a children's residential setting. Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations, and safeguarding policies. A proven track record in improving outcomes for children and young people with EBD, trauma, and complex needs. Exceptional leadership, organisational, and communication skills. The ability to inspire and develop staff to provide outstanding care. A full UK driving licence (essential).
