About us



Nurture Bridge is a forward-thinking and compassionate residential childcare provider based in Berkshire. Founded with a deep commitment to nurturing children and young people aged 7-17 with emotional and behavioural needs, we offer safe, structured, and therapeutic homes where young people can thrive. Our approach is rooted in empathy, consistency, and a belief in every child's potential.

We are now building a dedicated team at Woodview House, our newly established home in Wexham, and we're looking for passionate individuals to join us on this journey.

About you



Whether you're experienced in residential childcare or seeking a meaningful new career, if you bring passion, resilience, and a nurturing spirit, we want to hear from you.

Many of the children in our care have experienced trauma, loss, or instability. Your role will be to provide a consistent, safe, and supportive environment where they can begin to trust, heal, and grow. With full training provided, you'll learn to understand the root of challenging behaviours and help young people develop healthy coping strategies.

Please note:



You must be aged 21 or over (per children's home regulations)

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential

Key Responsibilities



Support children and young people in daily routines, education, and emotional wellbeing Follow individual care plans and implement consistent boundaries Maintain a safe, nurturing environment in line with safeguarding policies Respond calmly and effectively to challenging behaviour Work collaboratively with colleagues, professionals, and families Act as a positive role model, promoting independence and resilience Participate in shift work, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins

What We're Looking For



A flexible, team-oriented approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills Emotional resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure A commitment to safeguarding and child protection Experience in residential childcare (preferred but not essential) NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (preferred or willingness to work towards)

Additional Information



This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and rigorous safer recruitment procedures

You must have the right to work in the UK

Disqualification from Caring for Children (England) Regulations 2002 applies
