Do you have previous experience as a support worker, care assistant, domiciliary/home care or residential homes - then this is the ideal role for you. We are looking for someone who is passionate, who want to make a difference to people's lives.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT - Level 3 in Residential Childcare or Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

We are a family run, independent business operating Children's Homes in the Basildon, Essex area.

Support Worker duties:

Supporting young persons to develop independence and life skills;

Assisting people to achieve daily goals and daily activities such as, cooking, arts, crafts hobbies;

Assisting young persons with their education, whether it be taking them to and from an educational setting and/or assisting with home schooling;

Maintaining thorough record keeping and reporting;

Supporting young persons with their day to day development to enable a stable, nurturing home environment for them to live in.

Maintaining high level of confidentiality at all times;

Ability to communicate effectively and consistently;

Annual pay rate based on 48 hours per week of a mixture of day and nights

Day shifts / waking night shifts
