If so, Beloved Childcare in Northampton is looking for dedicated Children's Residential Carers to join our team across three children's homes.
About the Role:
We require compassionate carers to work flexibly across various shifts, including days, nights, and sleepovers. We are seeking individuals who can regulate their emotions, understand emotional intelligence, and provide consistent, restorative care to children with complex needs.
As a Residential Carer, you will:
Support children and young people with Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD), low self-esteem, self-harm tendencies, and challenging behaviours.
Engage in fun activities while offering guidance and emotional support.
Assist children in crisis and provide a therapeutic, family-like environment.
Work within a structured shift pattern that includes sleepovers (60 per shift) and waking nights (13/hour).
Receive full training and ongoing support to develop your career in residential childcare.
Salary & Benefits:
Children's Residential Carers: From 13 per hour, increasing after probation, plus enhanced pay for nights and sleepovers.
Senior Carers: 30,600 per annum (inclusive of 6-8 sleepovers per month) with additional overtime and waking night rates available.

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (for senior roles).

Essential Requirements:
UK resident with the right to work in the UK (No Certificate of Sponsorship available).
Minimum of one year's experience working with children in the UK.
Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
Ability to obtain satisfactory Enhanced DBS and references.
Strong communication skills (written & verbal) and a proactive team player.
Willingness to undertake funded Diploma Level 4 qualification.
