Following significant investment in our paediatric nurse staffing we are delighted to confirm that our newly agreed work force model aligns to RCN staffing recommendations for CYP including supernumerary nurse in charge.
This will enable you to be supported in practice and help you to provide quality care to your patients. You will also be supported to develop your knowledge and skills in providing acute paediatric care through our dedicated paediatric practice educator and preceptorship programme. Our workforce model will also flex to meet demands of the service over winter and summer by increasing the number of staff who can take annual leave over the summer months (March to September).
The post will involve nursing children on elective day case lists, acute inpatient admissions as well as children in our assessment area.

In all these respects to perform as a role model for junior staff
We are always looking for enterprising and innovative approaches to the way we provide our services. Community matters to us and we are supported by 400 dedicated volunteers and have strong links with Bradford University, Craven College and Leeds City College to ensure we inspire the workforce of the future.
