We are seeking an experienced Nursery Childcare Cook to join our thriving team in a children's day nursery in Slough.

The heartbeat of our Nursery is our team and an important part of that team is our Nursery Cook, who provides nutritious and healthy meals for the children under our care.

Working hours are from 9am to 1pm, or 9:30 to 1:30pm, Monday to Friday

Bespoke benefits package to meet your needs The Ideal Candidate Will: Prepare Snacks and Meals for the children Ensure all allergen and dietary requirements are adhered to Undertake regular deep cleans of their working kitchen Hold a level 2/3 health & hygiene qualification Have 1 years experience in similar role To ensure the kitchen and serving areas are maintained to the highest standards in terms of presentation and cleanliness. Be passionate about preparing fresh, balanced, nutritious meals Have ideas and experience of menu building and implementation, ordering independently, full kitchen management
Essential to role

A positive attitude Level 3 Food and Hygiene qualification A team player Effective communication skills Knowledge of basic health and safety and food safety Willingness to undertake further training as required COSHH Knowledge Experience of Food Hygiene inspections
