The Role
As our
Registered Children's Home Manager
, you'll lead with both heart and expertise -- blending operational excellence with genuine care.
You'll create a culture where young people flourish, staff grow in confidence, and homes run with integrity and consistency.
You will:
Provide
inspirational leadership
that motivates your team to deliver the highest standards of care.
Embed
trauma-informed and attachment-based practice
in everything you do.
Champion
child-centred care planning
, ensuring each young person's voice is heard and respected.
Maintain compliance with
Ofsted

Children's Homes Regulations

Quality Standards
.
Lead on audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
Build strong partnerships with local authorities, families, and professionals to secure positive outcomes.
Manage budgets effectively, balancing operational needs with the wellbeing of the children in your care.
About You
You're a natural leader -- calm, compassionate, and deeply committed to making a difference.

You bring:
Level 5 Diploma
in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People's Services..
At least
2 years' management experience
in a children's residential setting.
A deep understanding of
trauma, attachment, and child development
.
Exceptional knowledge of
safeguarding
,
crisis management
, and
regulatory standards
.
The ability to
inspire, motivate, and nurture
your team with warmth and consistency.
