Responsibilities
Provide direct support to children, assisting them with daily living activities and routine.
Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each child's needs, ensuring their well-being and development.
Communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals to foster a supportive homely environment.
Drive to various locations as required for young peoples routine or community activities, ensuring safe transport for the children in your care.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress made, adhering to organisational policies and procedures.
Utilise IT skills to manage documentation and communicate with team members efficiently.
Experience
Previous experience working with children in a childcare or support setting is desirable.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with children and families.
Familiarity with developing care plans and understanding individual needs is advantageous.
A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children as part of your duties.
Proficiency in IT systems will be beneficial for record-keeping and communication purposes.
