What You'll Do as a Support Worker
You'll play a key role in supporting young people to feel safe, confident, and empowered. Your days may include:
Supporting young people in a caring residential environment
Helping develop and implement personalised care plans
Building positive, trusting relationships
Encouraging emotional, social, and personal development
Supporting education, activities, and community engagement
Working alongside social workers, teachers, and professionals
Keeping accurate records and following safeguarding policies
Actively taking part in training and growth opportunities
Who We're Looking For
You might come from a background such as childcare, education, youth work, parenting, fostering, volunteering, or any role where you've naturally provided support to others.
Ideal candidates are:
Naturally nurturing, calm, patient, and reliable
Passionate about helping young people achieve positive outcomes
Looking for a meaningful long-term career
Flexible with hours, including sleep-ins, weekends & bank holidays
Comfortable travelling
Skilled in communication and teamwork
Open to training (no qualifications required -- we provide them)
Preferred but not essential:
Experience supporting children/young people
Driving licence
Basic IT skills
