12 hour shifts, 8 - 8. Full Time = 4 shifts per week across 7 days, weekend work included, this will be allocated fairly across all staff on a rota basis provided well in advance to promote work life balance.
Variations in shifts/hours can be discussed at a later stage.
Night Shifts will be awake night shifts.
Pay Rates:
Day Rate: 14 - 15ph dependent upon experience and qualifications
Night Rate: 15 - 16ph dependent upon experience and qualifications

We are seeking Residential Support Workers to be at the heart of this exciting new chapter - supporting children who have complex behavioral needs, they may have experienced trauma, neglect or abuse with staffing levels on a 2:1 or 3:1 basis. Helping them to rebuild their futures with confidence and develop the independent life skills needed to thrive later in life.
Basic Responsibilities:
Provide day to day care in line with care and support plans, supporting and promoting the company ethos.
Help children develop necessary life skills, build self-esteem, resilience and help them to achieve their personal goals.
Plan and take part in fun, engaging activities and targeted keywork sessions that promote growth and well-being, completing risk assessments should they be required.
Work collaboratively as part of a team which may involve working with a network of dedicated professionals, social workers and other external bodies that surround the child.
Maintain clear and accurate records, adhering to safeguarding policies.
Contribute to routine household tasks such as cleaning and inventory etc.
What we require:
Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a residential setting. (EBD or complex need is an advantage)
Level 3 Qualification in Children & Young People / Residential Childcare Preferred (or a willingness to work towards qualification)
Deliver and maintain high levels of care with Safeguarding at the forefront.
Have a patient and resilient nature, with a sense of humour and a genuine passion for working with young people is essential.
This role will require you to undertake PMVA restraint training and an understanding this may be required to be put into practice (fully funded training)
Willingness to undertake training courses to maintain continuous professional development. (fully funded training)
Ability to work shifts; including weekends and flexibility to accommodate the needs of the home.
Due to Ofsted regulations applicants must be over 21 years of age.
Full UK Driving License is preferred but not essential.
