Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others, particularly children, and will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance in daily activities. Responsibilities

Assist children with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and educational support. Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Provide emotional support and encouragement to children, fostering a positive environment. Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress made towards goals. Communicate effectively with children, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care. Drive to various locations as required for home visits or community activities. Utilise IT skills to manage documentation and communicate with colleagues efficiently.

Experience

Previous experience working with children is essential; experience in childcare settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans is advantageous. Strong communication skills are necessary to engage effectively with children and their families. A valid driving licence is required for this role to facilitate travel between locations. Proficiency in IT systems for documentation purposes is beneficial.
