Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Caritas Homes. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing care and support to children, ensuring their welfare is prioritized and helping them to develop positively in a loving family-like environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans for children. Provide emotional support and guidance to children in our care. Engage with children through activities that promote their development and well-being. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and any incidents that occur. Communicate effectively with team members, families, and external agencies. Ensure the safety and security of the home environment.

Requirements

Experience working with children or within the childcare sector is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and colleagues. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team. A caring and empathetic approach towards children's needs. Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication.
