We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide essential assistance to children in a caring environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting children's development, ensuring their safety, and fostering a positive atmosphere. Responsibilities
Assist children with daily activities, including personal care and mobility needs
Support children in participating in educational and recreational activities
Implement and follow individualised care plans tailored to each child's needs
Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for children at all times
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and team members regarding children's progress and wellbeing
Drive children to appointments, activities, or outings as required
Keep accurate records of daily activities, observations, and any incidents
Contribute to the development of personalised programmes that promote learning and social skills
Experience
Previous experience working with children is highly desirable
Knowledge of childcare practices and child development principles
Experience with creating or following care plans tailored to individual needs
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with children, families, and team members
IT literacy for maintaining records and documentation efficiently
Driving experience is advantageous but not essential; willingness to obtain necessary licenses if required
