Job Summary


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide essential assistance to children in a caring environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting children's development, ensuring their safety, and fostering a positive atmosphere. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young lives while working within a supportive team. The role involves working closely with children, implementing care plans, and maintaining effective communication with families and colleagues.

Responsibilities



Assist children with daily activities, including personal care and mobility needs Support children in participating in educational and recreational activities Implement and follow individualised care plans tailored to each child's needs Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for children at all times Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and team members regarding children's progress and wellbeing Drive children to appointments, activities, or outings as required Keep accurate records of daily activities, observations, and any incidents Contribute to the development of personalised programmes that promote learning and social skills

Experience



Previous experience working with children is highly desirable Knowledge of childcare practices and child development principles Experience with creating or following care plans tailored to individual needs Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with children, families, and team members IT literacy for maintaining records and documentation efficiently Driving experience is advantageous but not essential; willingness to obtain necessary licenses if required This role offers an enriching environment where your skills can directly impact children's lives positively. What We Are Looking For
