The Role
We're looking for a passionate Children's Residential Support Worker to support children with complex emotional and behavioural needs. You'll lead shifts, mentor team members, and ensure consistent therapeutic care. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact while developing your career in residential childcare.

Key Responsibilities
Lead shifts and provide guidance to the care team to ensure high-quality, consistent support.
Build safe, trusting relationships with children using a trauma-informed and therapeutic approach.
Support with care planning, behaviour management, and key-working responsibilities.
Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and incidents are reported accurately and promptly.
Maintain detailed records, reports, and logs in line with Ofsted and company standards.
Support and mentor junior support workers, promoting a positive team culture.
Communicate effectively with external professionals, families, and management.
Take part in regular training, supervisions, and team development activities.
Our Ideal Candidate
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or a willingness to work towards it)
Experience working as a support worker in a residential childcare setting (desirable)
A solid understanding of safeguarding, child development, and trauma-informed care
Confidence in leading shifts and supporting team members
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins, and waking nights
Basic IT skills for using online reporting and care systems
A full UK driving licence (preferred)

Working in a children's residential care setting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
