We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing assistance and care to children, ensuring their well-being and development. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to fostering a supportive environment.
Duties
Assist children with daily activities, including personal care and hygiene.
Implement and monitor individual care plans tailored to each child's needs.
Provide emotional support and encouragement to promote positive behaviour and development.
Engage in educational and recreational activities that enhance learning and social skills.
Maintain clear communication with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the child's care.
Document progress and any changes in behaviour or health as required.
Drive children to appointments or activities as necessary, ensuring their safety at all times.
Qualifications
Previous experience working with children is essential; experience in childcare settings is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members.
Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately.
Proficient IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children when required.
A caring attitude with a passion for supporting children's growth and development.

Pay: 13.06-14.00 per hour
Licence/Certification:
Level 2/3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent (preferred)
DBS (preferred)
International Police Check (preferred)
