Responsibilities

Assist children with daily activities, including personal care and mobility support Implement and follow individualised care plans tailored to each child's needs Support children's emotional well-being through engaging activities and positive interaction Facilitate communication between children, families, and multidisciplinary teams Drive children to appointments, education, activities, or outings as required, ensuring safety at all times Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations relevant to the child's progress Use IT tools effectively to update records, communicate with team members, and manage schedules Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that encourages independence and confidence

Qualifications

Experience working with children in a childcare or support setting is highly desirable Valid driving licence with the ability to drive children safely to various destinations Knowledge of child development and experience in creating or following care plans Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with families and professionals Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in supporting children's growth and well-being

Pay: 12.71-14.50 per hour
