St Caspian Care is proud to operate two therapeutic children's homes: a 4-bedded home and a 3-bedded home both in Harrow.

What are the main duties of a Therapeutic Support Worker?
Providing care, support, and supervision, including household tasks, cooking, shopping, laundry, and independent living skills to the young people in their care.
Actively promote the welfare, safety, personal development, and wellbeing of all Children.
Follow the PACE model promoting therapeutic relationships between adults, children, families, and professionals involved in the children's care.
To use creativity and imagination everyday.
To maintain effective communication skills and written records.
??Good organisation, time keeping and problem-solving skills.
To use creativity and imagination everyday.
To aid children/young people with everyday tasks.
??To be open minded, fun loving and caring.
??Willing to travel with the children via company vehicle or public transport.
Working Hours:
0700-2300
40 hrs per week average over 52 weeks including additional sleep-in duties. Following a rolling three-week rota, working one shift on, two off, allowing for a greater work - life balance.
Job Type - Full Time
Salary Up to 33,000 per year
Sleep ins paid on top of base salary at a rate of 50-60, depending on size of home you work in.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Genuine passion for working with children and young people
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
Full manual UK Driving Licence
(preferred)
Right to work in the United Kingdom
QCF Level 3: Children and Young people's Workforce or equivalent qualification
