We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals, particularly children, in their daily activities and personal development. Your responsibilities will include assisting with care plans, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Duties
Assist children with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene.
Implement and monitor care plans tailored to individual needs.
Provide emotional support and encouragement to foster confidence and independence.
Communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support.
Drive to various locations as required for outings or appointments.
Maintain accurate records of progress and any incidents that may occur.
Engage in recreational activities that promote social interaction and skill development.
Experience
Previous experience working with children is highly desirable.
Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes.
A background in childcare or related fields is advantageous.
Ability to drive is preferred to facilitate transport for outings or appointments.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both children and adults.
