Velox Social Care is recruiting Residential Support Workers for permanent positions within Children's Residential homes in Loughborough.

You will provide trauma-informed, child-centred care to children and young people with emotional, behavioural, and complex needs, helping to maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment where young people can thrive.

This role involves working on a

rotational shift pattern

, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and emotional support Build positive, professional relationships with young people Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive behaviour Support daily routines, education, and activities Complete daily records, handovers, and incident reports Work in line with safeguarding and organisational policies
Essential Criteria

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Equivalent 1+ Years experience supporting Children and Young People in a Residential Setting Preferably in an EBD Setting Strong understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed care Excellent communication and reliability Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins Full UK Driving License

- This role requires full-time availability. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship, including 20-hour student visa roles.
