Your Role
As an RSW, you'll provide direct care and guidance to children, supporting their social, emotional, and educational development. Your responsibilities will include:
Building trusting and supportive relationships with young people
Acting as a positive role model and mentor
Supporting daily routines, education, and activities (from cooking to sports and outings)
Helping children develop life skills and independence
Promoting safeguarding, safety, and wellbeing at all times
Working as part of a close-knit, supportive team
Requirements
Experience working with children or young people (desirable, not essential - full training provided)
Passion for making a positive difference in children's lives
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins
Commitment to personal development and learning
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Right to work in the UK (required)
Shift Pattern
Our RSWs typically work
24-hour shifts (including sleep-ins)
on a rolling rota (e.g. 1-on / 2-off), providing both consistency for children and a balanced work-life pattern for staff.
