Assist children with daily routines, including personal care, dressing, and meal times
Support children in participating in educational and recreational activities tailored to their individual care plans
Provide emotional support and encouragement to promote confidence and independence
Maintain clear communication with families, colleagues, and external professionals regarding each child's progress and needs
Drive children safely to appointments or activities as required, ensuring adherence to safety regulations
Keep accurate records of daily activities, behavioural observations, and any incidents or concerns
Contribute to the development and review of personalised care plans in collaboration with relevant professionals
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times by adhering to health and safety policies
Experience
Prior experience working with children is highly desirable
Knowledge of childcare practices and child development principles
Experience with creating or following care plans tailored to individual needs
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, families, and team members
Ability to operate basic IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
Driving experience is advantageous for transporting children safely to various locations
