The ethos and culture of Soaring Heights Care Children's Home is a holistic child-centred home, where children are supported to flourish. The home promotes the development of meaningful relationships between the adults and the children based on core values of mutual respect and good parenting. We are a 3 bedroomed mixed EBD home based in Tottenham, we are looking for experienced support workers to provide high standards of care to the children and young people.
Your role
The well-being of the children is paramount as the role of a Support Worker, not only as a support worker are you keeping the child safe, but you are the positive role model and min point of contact for that child.
To support the children to achieve the highest standard of care with their daily well-being including their emotional and physical well-being. To encourage and support children to develop healthy long-term relationships, within a family environment.
Through a consistent approach to care for children and young people to develop resilience, self-esteem and improved general well-being. Supporting children to achieve their individual goals and achieve their full potential.

The ultimate responsibility of the position is to ensure outstanding outcomes for the children and young people residing at the home, whilst ensuring the highest standard of compliance in line with Ofsted Regulations.
Desirable:
NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People workforce or equivalent.
Experience working with children with behaviours that challenge or who have experienced trauma
Experience working in a children's residential home
Basic knowledge of relevant laws and procedures relating to children and young people and children's homes.
Honest, reliable, and able to listen and empathise with others
Qualifications/Experience
Experience working with children in a residential home (EBD)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Patience and empathy when dealing with individuals
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 30,000.00 per year
