Usk, Monmouthshire.

Salary:

30,520 - 33,000 (including 6 sleep-ins per month)

Contract:

Full-Time (40 hours)

We are looking for dedicated, resilient, and big-hearted individuals to join our Usk team. We support various young people between the ages of 8-18 years with complex needs, traumas, emotional and behavioural needs.

The Role: More Than Just Support



As a Support Worker, your day-to-day is about creating a "family home" atmosphere. You will:

Build Trust:

Develop genuine, therapeutic relationships that help our young people feel safe, valued and build their self-esteem, whilst safeguarding our young people at all times.

Create Memories:

Join in on exciting leisure activities--from outdoor adventures in the local area to quiet creative afternoons at home.

Provide Stability:

Maintain the gentle structure and boundaries that help our young people thrive developmentally, including everyday household tasks and essential record-keeping.

Empower Futures:

Use a therapeutic approach to help young people understand their feelings and make positive choices to promote their independence into adulthood.

30,520 - 33,000 per year.

Your Schedule (The 3-Week Rolling Rota)



We value your work-life balance. Our rota is set for the year, so you can plan your life with certainty.

The Shift:

A "Late-Sleep-Early" pattern (Starts 1pm, finishes 1pm the following day).

Structure:

10-hour late shift, 8-hour sleep-in (11pm-7am), and a 6-hour early shift.

What You'll Need



The Basics:

You must be

21+

(Legal requirement) and hold a

full manual UK driving licence

. You will need strong communication skills and have experience in using IT.

Location:

You should live within one hour of Usk (NP15) to ensure you can reach us reliably.

Resilience:

You must be physically and mentally fit to support and role model for our young people, including using physical interventions (Price) when necessary to keep everyone safe.

Commitment:

If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification, you must be willing to complete it within your first 3 years.

Right to Work:

You must have the right to work in the UK (we cannot offer sponsorship at this time).
Previous experience is desirable. No experience? No problem. We provide comprehensive training and a supportive induction to ensure you feel confident from day one.
