35,000 - 36,000 per year

Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

Monday to Friday with some evenings and 1-2 Saturdays per month

is a growing charity that supports children and teenagers with a learning disability and autism. We're looking for a committed and skilled

Children's Service Manager

to lead our well-established afterschool clubs, weekend and holiday playschemes, and evening youth groups.

This is a key role within our management team, with the autonomy to shape how services are delivered and improve the quality of our offer. You'll oversee two experienced Team Leaders and a team of 60+ sessional workers, ensuring services are safe, high-quality and responsive to the needs of the children and families we support.

What You'll Do

Lead and further develop a range of children's SEND services (ages 5-18) Support and supervise two Team Leaders (admin/referrals and session delivery) Collaborate with our Recruitment Manager to build and retain a skilled team Oversee staff inductions, training, and ongoing development Monitor service quality and support staff with on-the-ground issues Maintain a strong presence in sessions, offering support and coaching where needed Contribute to service improvement and long-term planning as part of our services leadership team

What We're Looking For

? Experience managing services for children or young people with additional needs
? Understanding of learning disabilities and autism, with ideally a Health & Social Care qualification
? Confidence supporting behaviours that challenge (or willingness to learn)
? Strong team management, communication, and organisational skills including contract management and reporting.

? Able to work during school holidays (our busiest period)
? Minibus driving a bonus, not essential
