Job Role:



As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care that meets the emotional, social, and educational needs of our children. You will ensure that all safeguarding procedures are strictly followed, creating a safe and nurturing environment for our children. You will lead and inspire your team to achieve outstanding outcomes while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory obligations.

Responsibilities:

To be a registered manager responsible for implementing and maintaining regulated activities. To ensure that services, support and care are provided person-centred, using person-centred approaches. To contribute to the overall development of the home and to ensure compliance with the aims and objectives of the company. Responsible for the care and safety of staff and children. Accountable for the day-to-day management by statutory regulations, policies and procedures of the Company. Finance management and budgeting Ensure robust training and development for employees The promotion of an environment conducive to a high standard of care in which children can thrive and create positive and lasting memories. Use a 'Working Together' approach to secure best practice To be responsible for recruiting staff within the facility in conjunction with the Responsible Individual and Board of Directors To ensure that all recruitment is in line with the Company policy on

'SAFER RECRUITMENT.'

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children's home. Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including safeguarding and child protection. Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of building and maintaining a motivated and high-performing team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, staff, and external stakeholders. Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent. Valid UK driving licence

Salary:



48,000 - 60,000 salary per annum (dependant on experience and qualifications). 2,500 signing bonus Up to 5,000 bonus based on inspection outcomes annually thereafter. Full-Time, based on 37.5 hours per week
