Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable

children's sports coach

to lead fun, engaging sport sessions for children aged 2-4. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for working with nursery-aged children and helping them stay active through sport.

You'll be running pre-planned sessions in a supportive, energetic environment, ideal for coaches looking for flexible work without the commitment of full-time hours. You'll be the face of the session, so confidence, communication and control are key.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver fun, structured multi-sports or football sessions to children aged 2-4 Set clear expectations for behaviour and create a positive, safe environment Lead warm-ups, skill-based games, and small competitions that keep children engaged Adapt sessions to meet different age groups or ability levels. Arrive 10 minutes early to set up equipment and prepare for a smooth session Ensure all activities follow safeguarding and health & safety guidelines

Experience & Requirements

Previous experience working with 2-4 year old children (coaching, teaching, nursery-practitioners etc.) Confident leading group sessions and managing behaviour positively A passion for sports and physical activity

Enhanced DBS check

(or willingness to obtain one) Relevant coaching qualifications (FA Level 1 or Multi-Skills preferred but not essential)

This role comes with flexible working hours and the opportunity to grow with us as we expand our clubs. Sessions take place in Sandwell, Dudley and surrounding areas, and all planning and equipment will be provided.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 6 per week
