Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Support Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and implementing support plans for children, ensuring their needs are met effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and have experience in childcare, enabling them to work collaboratively with families and other professionals. This position requires an individual who is organised, proactive, and capable of driving to various locations as needed.

Duties

Develop and implement personalised support plans tailored to the specific needs of children. Communicate effectively with families, ensuring they are informed and involved in the process. Collaborate with all professionals, educators, and social workers to coordinate services for children. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to care plans and progress. Provide support and guidance to families navigating available resources and services. Drive to various locations as required for meetings, assessments, or service delivery.

Qualifications

Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential. Strong IT skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with families and professionals. Ability to develop comprehensive care plans that address individual needs. A valid driving licence is required for travel between locations. A compassionate approach with a commitment to supporting children's well-being.
