Salary: Starting from 25,552 plus 3000 - 6000 pa for sleep-ins. (62.64 per sleep-in)

Full time working long day shifts plus sleeps.
Full UK driving licence is required for this role.

As a therapeutic support worker you will

Be part of a family team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people, led and supported by a registered manager.
Provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child.
Act as a positive role model to meet their everyday living needs,
Enjoy the outdoors and having shared interests such as fashion and art.
Carry out household tasks such as cooking and cleaning
Provide emotional and physical support to allow our young people to reach their full potential in sometimes challenging situations
Build friendships and trusting relationships
Help them to find pleasure in everyday tasks

What do you need?
You must be eligible for registration with Social Care Wales.
Previous experience of working with young people and children or transferable skills such as SEN education, police, supporting vulnerable adults, sports.
We want people who are naturally caring, energetic and enjoy the outdoors.
Great communication skills, positive and fun.
Full UK Driving licence is required
Ability to remain calm and to show resilience
Ability to relate to our young people and share interests and encourage hobbies.
You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins .
