This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person to work within a small team of support workers, giving families a short break from their caring responsibilities.



The Home-based shorts breaks team Team is looking for a children's support worker to join the team.



We work with families and partnership agencies to care for 0 to 5 years old (pre-school), all training and competencies to look after your caseload is delivered and managed by a registered nurse. You will carry out 2 visits a day - both lasting 3 hours each. You will have your own caseload and visit the families a minimum of once a week.



This role will be based at Capital House, Faversham, but is carried out in the family homes. You will need a full valid driver's license.



If you have experience of working with children with complex health needs within a health, educational or social care setting, would like to use and build upon existing knowledge and skills, enjoy caring for children within a friendly team then this could be the perfect role for you.



The applicant must be confident in working and liaising with a diverse range of stakeholders.



Tracheostomy and ventilation experience is desirable but not essential, if you are willing to be trained.



This role is 22.5 per week, therefore we are unable to offer sponsorship.



Interviews are scheduled for Friday 20th June 2025.



Delivering all needs for a 3 hours session in the child's home or community for under 5 year old.



You will be lone working but have the support of a nurse for advice and training needs.



Additional Working Pattern:

3 days a week 9am to 5pm
