26,500 - 30,500 per annum (dependent on experience)

Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

1 shift on / 2 shifts off (rolling rota)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated

Children's Support Worker

to join our small, family-run residential care home in Hillingdon, Uxbridge. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a therapeutic environment where your support helps vulnerable children feel safe, valued, and empowered to achieve their full potential.

About the Role

As a Children's Support Worker, you will provide both emotional and practical support to children and young people with

Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

. You will be a positive role model, helping them develop independence, essential life skills, and self-confidence within a safe and structured home environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver consistent, high-quality care and emotional support. Build trusting, positive relationships with young people. Apply therapeutic strategies tailored to individual needs. Encourage independence, life skills, and personal growth. Maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured home environment. Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times. Keep clear and accurate records, contributing to care planning.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year's experience in residential childcare -

Preferred

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) -

Preferred

Understanding of therapeutic care approaches. Calm, empathetic, and child-focused attitude. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Full UK driving licence -
